Q: Is A1 Records Seeking More Musicians?
A: Almost always! A1 Records is looking for mature musicians who want to make great music and preform it to audiences. A1 Records will remain very loyal to anyone who is loyal to us, however we will not hesitate to get rid of someone who shows even the slightest lack of commitment. Please send us an email for more details. Currently, we are looking for:
- Vocalists (ie. howlers , soul, etc)

Q: Is A1 Records Accepting Submissions?
A: We sure are! In fact we always are. If you are doing something cool in any style of music, let us know about it, even if it's just to give it a listen. We will always be truthful and upfront about what we can offer your group, or what you would need to improve on. Our one requirement is that you're not a bunch of fucking assholes. We don't deal with this, and will kick your ass out without hesitation.

Q: Why Should I Buy A Hard Copy If Your Music Is Free?
A: Great question ace! Here's why. A1-CDs are of super limited quantity always (< 50 copies) and every dollar made goes to supporting what we do, so we can keep doing it. Sometimes just a buck or two to show your respect is more than enough. We put a lot of time and almost all of our own funds into this, and honestly a couple donated dollars, or buying an album, really helps keep our heads up. Of course the most important thing to us is just making music for you to listen to and enjoy, and this will never change as long as I'm in charge (Gregroy Kraj), but time I could be spending at another job gets spent doing this so we don't have to be slaves to fucking boring shit like your big name bands.

Q: Is A1 Records Putting Out Vinyl?
A: Fuck yes! Save some money cause we have rock 'n roll records on the way. Also keep your eyes open for a Crabskull dub!

To All Photographers/Videographers/Journalists/Etc.

In response to many of your concerns related to unauthorized use of your works, this is A1 Records' position:

If you cover an A1 Records affiliated person or event, A1 Records reserves the right to Bogart your shit if you so make it accessible to us. We will not alter your photograph or video without your permission (ie. removing your own advertising from it), however if you so choose to cover us, you are taking the risk we will use it for our own purposes. You, in turn, are using our likeness without permission, and honestly,. It is a fair trade off. You get to advertise your shit, we get some nice coverage.

Regardless, if you don't like this, don't associate yourself with us.
